Reiki
I am a Reiki Level II Practitioner, working towards becoming a Reiki Master. I have been attuned to Reiki for about a year now. Reiki is a Universal Life Force Energy. It can never harm. Reiki works harmoniously with all other kinds of treatment, including medical and psychological care. It is offered as part of regular patient care in over 800 hospitals across the US. It has been known to help with flu, fatigue, insomnia, impotence, headaches, broken bones, skin problems, MS, heart disease, and cancer. Just about every known illness and injury can benefit from Reiki
While I offer Reiki for everyone for all sorts of reasons, my main focus is on women and their reproductive health, especially the menopause life stage. See below why I believe it to be beneficial for women.
Virtual Reiki works. There is one study that occurred during the pandemic on the effects of Reiki done virtually. You can see the results yourself here https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10212593/. It is effective.
I offer virtual Reiki currently as part of my Embracing Menopause: A Holistic Approach programs. You can schedule a session to see what it can do for you below. It generally takes more than one session to get full healing effects. 4-6 sessions are suggested.
Reiki and Menopause: A Holistic Approach to Wellbeing
Reiki, a Japanese energy healing technique, has gained popularity recently for its potential benefits in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. While there is limited scientific research specifically on Reiki and menopause, anecdotal evidence and personal experiences suggest that it can be a valuable tool for managing the symptoms and challenges associated with this life stage.
The Benefits of Reiki for Menopause
Stress Reduction: Menopause can be a stressful time, and Reiki can help to reduce stress and anxiety. By promoting relaxation and calming the mind, Reiki can alleviate some of the emotional symptoms associated with menopause, such as irritability, mood swings, and depression.
Pain Relief: Reiki can be effective in reducing physical pain, including aches and pains associated with menopause. Reiki can help alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being by promoting relaxation and improving circulation.
Hormonal Balance: While more research is needed, some women report that Reiki can help to balance hormones and alleviate menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats.
Improved Sleep: Stress and anxiety can contribute to sleep disturbances during menopause. Reiki can help to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality.
Boosted Immune System: By promoting relaxation and reducing stress, Reiki can help to strengthen the immune system, making it easier for the body to fight off infections and diseases.
Enhanced Emotional Well-being: Reiki can help to improve emotional well-being by promoting feelings of peace, tranquility, and self-acceptance.
How Reiki Works
Reiki is a non-invasive technique that involves the practitioner placing their hands on or above the recipient's body. The practitioner channels universal life energy, or Reiki, to promote healing and balance. Reiki is believed to work on a subtle energy level, addressing the root causes of physical and emotional imbalances.
Combining Reiki with Other Therapies
Reiki can be used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments. It can be particularly beneficial when combined with other holistic practices, such as yoga, meditation, and acupuncture, to create a comprehensive approach to managing menopausal symptoms and promoting overall well-being.
Conclusion
While more scientific research is needed to fully understand the benefits of Reiki for menopause, anecdotal evidence, and personal experiences suggest that it can be a valuable tool for managing the symptoms and challenges associated with this life stage. By promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being, Reiki can help women navigate menopause with greater ease and grace.
